As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced North American Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead our aftermarket sales initiatives and drive growth in this key segment. Job Summary: The NA Aftermarket Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability within the aftermarket segment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying market opportunities, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aftermarket sales within the Railway & Bus sector and a deep understanding of the North American market dynamics. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive aftermarket sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets. • Identify and prioritize key aftermarket accounts and develop plans to grow sales within each account. • Build and maintain strong relationships with aftermarket customers, including but not limited to Transit authorities, Vehicle Manufacturers, and service providers. • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales & Projects, engineering, field service, and operations, to support aftermarket sales initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for aftermarket products and services. • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement. • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on aftermarket sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of aftermarket sales processes. • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to aftermarket sales and ensure adherence to relevant standards. • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote aftermarket products and services and expand the company's presence in the market. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aftermarket sales management within the Passenger Rail & Bus sectors. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the aftermarket segment. • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers and internal stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software; SAP preferred. • Willingness to travel frequently within North America & Canada as required.
