This includes managing production schedules, ensuring the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes, and leading a team of production staff. The role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize production processes to meet business goals. Responsibilities: Production Management: Develop and implement production schedules to meet business demands. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery of products. Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and support the professional development of team members. Identifies and share training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Process Improvement and Lean Manufacturing: Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and improve process efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles. Train and mentor team members on Lean principles and tools. Analyze production data to identify areas of loss and implement corrective actions. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive accountability. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures. Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during production. Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing team. Resource Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available for production. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials. Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present production reports to senior management. Maintain accurate records of production activities and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all relevant documentation and reporting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and/or Total Quality Management (TQM) systems. This includes but is not limited to: Operational Excellence Lean Manufacturing TPM Six Sigma Loss Elimination Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using manufacturing software and systems. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Administration. Experience in a specific industry related to the company's products. Certification in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
