Our client is seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This hands-on position requires a desire and ability to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as the demonstration of a high degree of flexibility, creativity, and initiative applied to the various duties and aspects of the position. This person will be expected to play an integral part of the company. The safety of our customers, subcontractors and personnel are first and foremost. We have an extensive safety program, including regular safety surveys and inspections. The company offers competitive wages, benefits package, vacation, including a 401(k). Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in the shop and the field. Required Qualifications: Familiarity with electronics, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment. 3-5 year’s experience in related field. Must have own tools Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Inspect a variety of heavy equipment for proper performance and to detect faults/malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. Able to perform heavy lifting and climb on/off flatbed trucks & cranes Must be able to read, write and communicate. Must pass a Pre-Employment and Drug Test. Other duties as assigned.
